I'm having an odd problem. I have a new Tomcat III to setup, but Buslogic
is way late on shipping me a 948, so I decided to set it up with a spare
aha-1540 and swap cards when the 948 arrives. Trouble is, the Tomcat sees
the 1540 at bootup (and the 1540 sees the IBM DALS540), but when linux
boots, it detects 0 hosts. I have tried using several slackware boot
disks that claim 1540 support, and have even made my own bootdisk using a
kernel I compiled with 1540 support. Nothing I do seems to help.
Anyone seen this? I've tried the original 3.02 bios that came with the
tomcat, and the 4.0 evaluation bios.
