Hi all. Can someone tell me how to get the aha1510 working? I guess its
the 6360 chipset.
I understand it doesn't have a bios, and therefore can't be probed, but I
can't get it to work with a module, or compiled directly in the kernel.
As a matter of fact, ezscsi told me it was at 0x340, but I'm not sure what
IRQ it is at, so I guess that could be part of the problem. Is there a
utility to test IRQ's? I have tried all the 'reccommended' ones, though.
I suppose I use the 152x driver, which I have read aha152x.c and
Modules-HOWTO, to no avail.
I also don't think I'm inserting the module right. 'insmod aha152x.o
io=0x340 irq=11' complains for some reason, despite the fact that
/etc/conf.modules has similiar command line args for my aha2940, which
works just fine. (I have tried the 1510 in another system, without two
scsi cards in it.)
Could you please also copy me, as I think there is some problem with my
mail system here. All of the sudden majordomo doesn't respond to me any
longer :(
Thanks much,
