A fix was already provided by Andreas Arens (among others), but somehow
lost for the public and he also seems to have lost internet access.
However, he emailed me a copy once which I still have. I obviously lack
time to make it work with the current kernels, but Andreas Degert agreed
on giving it a try. So: Stay tuned.

P.S. From my own work with the aha174x driver and docs I know that these
don't mention how to say if the aha174x uses it, also my aha bios revision
can't do it (not that I care). But then, Andreas Arens saw how it worked
under SCO Unix..

problems reaching me try mat42b@spi.power.uni-essen.de instead.)
