Hello,
I have adaptec 2940 and a Western Digital 2gig (enterprise) SCSi drive.
I installed Linux on the Scsi drive and win95 on one of my 2 ide drives.
I have tried to get my computer to boot the win95 partition through lilo,
but it won't recognize it. It sounds like a very similar problem to the
one below. The win95 partition is in my lilo.config, but when I boot,
the only choice is my linux partition. I have mounted and can use the
win95 partition once linux is loaded.
Note: I installed linux before I put the win95 partition on my ide drive.
I am pretty sure lilo is in the MBR of my SCSI drive. I think the
problem lies within the Adaptec BIOS, which I have enabled (in order to
boot immediately off the SCSI). I say this because I had to unplug my
ide hard drives to get linux to install to the SCSI properly.
Another Note: I have a Microid Bios which allows me to boot to the SCSI
first.
Another Note Again: I know I could just install linux to my ide drives,
but I want the speed of the SCSI drive!
If anybody has any ideas for me to try, please send it out.
Thanks in advance,
