aha1542 bios and LILO error

If the bios on my adaptec aha1542 scsi controller is enabled,
LILO will not give me any options which OS to boot to.
It boots to the first OS in the LILO config.
This happens even though i have tried both the mbr and the
bootsector on my liux partition.
Please help me, i hate using loadlin (Or even worse, bootdisks,)
