Is the Mylex DCE376 supported under linux?

A friend just gave me a Mylex DCE 376 EISA SCSI controller without any
memory. (His shop is moving away from intel based machines)
Before I go out an spend $100 on memory, does it work well with linux?
Any help or pointers to get more info greatly appreciated.
