Hi,

I have a NCR825 based SCSI hostadapter and GigaByte GA-486AM mainboard.
The mainboard seems to have an NCR SDMS BIOS on its own (SDMS V3.0, SCSI
V3.06.00).
Good for NCR810 users.
The Hostadapter has its own BIOS on board (Should be SDMS 4.0 and SCSI
4.01.00 or similar, as stated by the flash BIOS utility).
Good for non SDMS-BIOS mainboard users.
The mainboard BIOS is taking control at boot. I get messages about an
SDMS 3.0 BIOS with SCSI BIOS V3.06.00

How can I tell the mainboard/hostadapter to use the newer BIOS contained
on the hostadapter? The manuals do not cover this situation.
