Hi there,

I'm in the process of selecting the hardware for a leading (or was that
bleeding? ;-) edge Linux box and wondered if any of the available
wide SCSI PCI controllers are supported yet. Im thinking specifically
about the Adaptec 2940W and the NCR 8251S cards. I think both of the
"small" fast SCSI versions of these controllers (which basically feature
the same hardware) are supported, but the fact that both of these cards
offer 15 addressable SCSI devices makes me wonder if they are similar
enough...

Any insights or spottings of such drivers would be most welcome.

Arrigatou,
