Thanks to Dario the SCSI_ABORT_BUSY errors are now gone,
but I still get bus errors regularly when trying to
make ext2 filesystem on any partiotion in the RAID-5
device. When mke2fs tries to write inode tables,
it only manages to write a certain number, then
stops for a minute, and ... Bus error.
kone:~# mke2fs /dev/sda1
....
Writing inode tables: 163/513Bus error
I have tried different cache memory sizes with the DPT,
but it seems that it doesn't have any effect.
I am not kernel memory guru, so could anyone please explain
why bus error ? I am quite sure there are no bugs in the programs
I am using, since I have installed many Linuxes with them.
