log pages?

Hello,
I was wondering if somebody has written the piece of code to dump the log
pages out of a hard disk. I have a DEC DSP3053 hard disk on an ISA Buslogic
controller and sometimes it just freezes the bus or crashes the machine
(reboots with no warning!) after heavy usage. It's really annoying and I
can't seem to be able to reproduce it consistenly (or even often).
An interesting thing is that sometimes the disk light just says on. If this
happens, any attempt to boot the DOS driver without power up fails (can't find
any disks). On the other hand, the Linux driver has no trouble resetting the
disk and the SCSI subsystem. So, they must be doing something differently.
I would like to have a look at the log pages and see what's the disk's opinion
on this. Since the SCSI cable is terminated at both ends and I have tried five
or so cables, I am kind of mystified on what can be the source of the problem.
Yannis
