ncrBsd2Linux-1.16-src.tar.gz is available at the following location:

- linux.wauug.org        /pub/roudier

It can be installed under linux-1.2.13, 2.0.27 and 2.1.16.
I will upload it to tsx-11 and sunsite in 2 or 3 days if I will not get
to many problem reports.

Description:
	FreeBSD NCR53C8XX SCSI driver adapted to Linux
	Fast, Wide, Tagged Queue, Parity support

Most of changes apply to new features of NCR53C875 chips.
You will not gain advantage if you are using normal 810 and 825
controllers. However I am interested in results with such boards, just
to check nothing has been broken.

This version of the driver is alpha + Nx100 Gb xfered with 0 problem. :)
It is quite ok to report problems. But I am interested in success with
boards using 810A, 825A, 860 and 875 chips too.

810A: 810 rev. >= 0x10
825A: 825 rev. >= 0x10

I decided to not make the corresponding patch available for the "official"
kernel tree for the moment for the following reasons:

1. I am expecting some problems due to hardware flaws with new features
   enabled and I prefer to wait for some returns.
2. Stefan Esser is currently working on important enhancements and I will
   wait for availability of them.

Consider it is a Christmas present to people who bought some recent hardware
(as I did) and are impatient to play with.

Merry Christmas!

       Gerard.
