I don't know if anybody else has been observing this, but we
have been experiencing scsi timing problems in 2.0.25 and 2.0.26,
which never occur in 2.0.21. The scsi control is an ncr53c810. The
CPU is a Pentium (P-133 I think). The problem seems to be more or
less reproducible. Usually, I see an error like "fifo scsi empty" or
"illegal instruction." The problem never occurs with 2.0.21. I
have been observing this for about a week. I have already tried replacing
the changes made to scsi.c in 2.0.23, and that does not seem to solve
the problem. I know no changes were made to 53c7,8xx.c between 2.0.21
and 2.0.25, some I am a bit perplexed.
