I am using PPP since march, and i recently upgrade to Kernel 1.2.13 and ppp 2.1.2d.
With the slackware ppp (2.1.2a or b?), i was able to make a ftp link and get as many files
as I wanted. But since i upgraded, ftp seems to sleep. No more packets are transmitted.
But the pc is responding and i can telnet the same host and it works!
If a deconnect FTP, and retry, I may be able to download about 150 ko but no more.
It's the first time I see this problem with ppp.

My second problem is speed. I can't achieve more than 1Ko/s. Bad. On the same file,
I achieve 1.5Ko under Wind*ws. I noticed that, during the transfert, ppp seems to be waiting
every 5-6 1024Ko block (hash on). it may wait as long as 5 seconds!
If I look thru /proc/net/dev, i can see errors 1/3 waiting sequence. I also have
errors (about 5-10%).
The other side is a Silicon Indigo running Irix 5.3.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
