-->The driver for my SMC Ultra card occationally spits out "eth0: transmit timed

-->When I upgraded to 1.3.20, however, I noticed that a few seconds after this

I have noticed those problems with the tx status, but not the atalk
thing. What causes the transmit status timed out problems? It has shown
up on all of the ethernet ccards I have seen before.
