Hi everyone,
I have noticed that with kernel 1.3.15 my logs are being filled with
thousands of ICMP redirect packets being ignored. I have IP forwardin
enabled, and this seems to be where it's hoppening. What I want to know
is why we should ignore any ICMP redirections, and also why we assume
that a host with IP forwarding is a fully set up router. My machine is
running as a PPP server for a few friends, so I don't really have any
need for a full routing setup.
