Hi,
I'm using Kernel 1.2.12 with a Intel EtherExpress card and I'm having
problems sendging large files over the network.
For example with ftp: It starts, then after about 70-90 Kbyte transfer
stops, nothings happens, sometimes it goes on, sometimes it falls down
in a black hole and after a few minutes ftp stopps and saying transfer
complete, but this isn't true.
I'm currently using the linux alpha driver for this card, I didn't found
a final release anywhere.
I have heard about possible problems that the card may drop packets or
even interrupts, because the motherboard is too fast(486DX with 40MHz,
localbus, EtherExpress 16Bit ISA),but I can't really belive that.
Someone can help?

TIA,
Tobias
