I am now building the Mobile Internet Protocol into the Linux kernel. As
required for our implementation, I have to set up my Linux router.

For some reasons, I was advised to install the daemon 'gated', which has the
RIP-II and OSPF protocols running. I have obtained the binary files
from sunsite.unc.edu, but I have no idea where the gated.conf, source
codes and man pages/documents are located.

I was told that "it is horribly messy to build the gated". Can you tell
me where I can get the right version of gated and its related files ? I
am now running Linux version 1.2.8, and I am going to upgrade it to the
latest version. If gated is still in beta-testing stage, can you tell me
how to obtain gated's supporting documents plus source codes so that I
can change something to meet my requirements ?

Thank you.
