I think it looks like the mail queue is overflowing and the mailing
list system never gets around to sending the larger messages.
However, I have seen no comments from the maintainer about this.
Sometimes if vger gets hit really hard by a lot of sites at once, and
runs out of ram sendmail/perl core files fill up the mail spool area.
I usually catch this, but as of late I've been trying to completely
back up all of vger's disks, and this has slowed it down considerably
as it does have a lot of storage.
