Hello.
I am calling from Portugal.
I have just received my Internet home connection.
It works with provided software in Windows (PPP, Chameleon Netmanage),
but I cannot make it work with my Linux.
I am using Linux 1.2.10 with PPP, of course, and I have setup debug
info. I can see the LCP Conf negotiation, but it's strange because
I see
rcvd LCP ConfRej ...
and
rcvd IPCP ConfRej ...
during this negotiation, although ifconfig shows that ppp0 interface
is up and running. Even route shows the new routing stuff, but I cannot
ping anywhere...
I also see messages announcing the IP addresses (remote and local).
Any hint?
I can provide the full debug info, if somebody needs further info.
I have already read FAQ, pppd.8, NET2-HOWTO, my Linux Admin book -- no
ideas.
