Hi,

Forgive me if this is old news but I'd just like to report the resounding
success I experienced installing a network at home using Allied Telesis'
AT2000T-Plus network cards. They're NE-2000 Plus clones, with EEPROM
configuration, and use the Winbond W89C904AXF processor.

These cards were the cheapest ethernet cards I've seen in Norway, cheaper
even than the Kingston NE-2000 clones. They don't seem to lock up when
drivers probe into their address space (I deliberately made the Buslogic
SCSI driver probe the network card with no ill effects).

Maybe somebody can use this info and save a $ or two.

-Andy
