G'day All,

I hope I am in the right place to get some help.....

I have linux Slackware 1.1.59 release running and I am trying to
install tcpdump. Great! tcpdump requires that you have libpcap
installed, or at least loaded, libpcap requires BPF to be installed.

Ok now here's the question.....

How do I install BPF on my version of linux?? I have bfp which seems
to be rather ancient, it came with an older tcpdump .Z file (2.2).

I have read the README and I am still none the wiser for having read
it.

I would really appreciate it if someone could either help me out
directly or point me to the right place to ask such a dumb question.

Many thanks,
Brad.
