I know it is getting a bit off topic for Linux, but I can confirm that
Windows '95 and 3.11b Beta will work with the patched bootpd. In fact,
demonstrated using an ex-development PC, reputed to have flakey hardware,
but has kept running Linux flawlessly for some time.
However, the problem we still have is being able to get NT machines
to use DHCP. It appears to fail in the same way as the 3.11a stack,
in that requests are seen, but no notice is taken of the reply.
If anybody knows of a cure, then please mail. I'll send a summary to
the list of any response if I get many `me too's sent to me.
