telnet kicks me out after 15 minutes.

telnetting from masqueradED host to
$ uname -a
SunOS mamach1 5.5 Generic sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1
or to
AIX mamach2 2 3 000081674100
or to
SunOS mamach3 5.3 Generic_101318-74 sun4m sparc
or to
SunOS mamach4 5.4 Generic_101945-36 sun4m
causes me to be kicked out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
actually, the "remote host closed connection" appears after either :
I press a key after 15 minutes of inactivity
OR
about 1 hour expires -- I don't have to touch anything.
This does not happen when telnetting to these machines from the
masqueradING host.
It also doesn't happen when telnetting from the masqueradED machine to
ULTRIX machines :
$ uname -a
ULTRIX machine1 4.4 0 RISC
or to
ULTRIX machine2 4.2 0 RISC
Anybody else with similair problem ? Any clues ?
