I am running Debian 1.1 (2.0.0 kernel), and am trying to setup IP
Masquerade. Could some kind soul that has made a 2.0.21 kernel with IP
Masq please send me their /usr/src/linux/.config file?

I followed the IP Masq HOWTO, and did not have anything unusual happen,
but I get no evidence that IP Masq is working. I am thinking that there
might be some .21 configuration option required that was not an option
when the HOWTO was written.

I tried everything applicable that I could see mentioned in this mailing
list's archives. I removed the dial-up adapter from the Win95 machine that
is attempting to use IP Masq to get out. My PPP connection seems solid,
the Linux machine can lynx/ftp/telnet out, and others can get in. I am
using Apache 1.1 for HTTP proxying, and that seems to work without a
hitch.

When I test the IP Masq, I try running telnet, Netscape (after clearing
the Manual Proxy settings and settting proxy to NoProxy), and WS_FTP from
the Win95 machine. The modem lights do not indicate that anything useful
is happening.

Thank you,
Andy Harrah (andyb@access.digex.net)
