You know, Linux and the people behind it never cease to amaze me. The
whole SYN flood thing exploded, what, two weeks ago? And now we already
have a solution to the problem, or at least a first attempt at it. And
all this time, lots of other networking people were whining to the
newspapers, "oh, there's no sure solution, it will take years, all ISP's
will have to change all their software," etc., etc., etc. Instead of
whining, Alan and company sat down and fixed it.

If you work at a company where you think a Linux box could do a job
better than whatever hardware you've got there now, this is your chance
to promote it as the superior solution! Point out that it withstands SYN
floods and anybody that knows their stuff can't help but be impressed.

This kind of motivation and adaptation is what makes Linux great,
everyone. Take this chance and convince the rest of the world.

A: None. They just define darkness as an industry standard.
