I've run across a possible bug in the telnetd daemon that comes with
NetKit-B-0.08. When I try to telnet to a machine running this version of
the daemon from a DOS maching running FTP Software's PC/TCP 3.10 I get an
immediate disconnect. This happens even before the issue message comes
up. No error is generated on the host. This does not happen with an
older version of the telnetd daemon (the one that came with Slackware 3.0.0).
I've had reports of this error happening with other version of PC/TCP and
possibly a telnet from another vendor, but I can't confirm this yet.
Any clues? Thanks.
