I would like to setup a "local MBONE" using Linux/mrouted
[mrouters A, B and C connected as a triangle]
Before I try to setup a local Linux-MBONE, could anyone
please let me know:
a) which is a working version of mrouted [3.81?]with source
that i should use (and where can i get them from)?
b) which kernel version(s) [>2.0.7?] will teh above
mrouted work with?
c) if i am only interested in setting up the interconnection
between mrouted via tunnels, do i need to use rip/gated to
setup routing tables? i.e. if i manually add
routes (via 'route'), shouldn't that suffice?
d) any web pages (other than those pointed to from the
Linux-Multicast page) that has relevant information?
Any information is much appreciated. Many thanks,
Arup
PS: please cc a reply to me, since i am still awaiting
vger to add me to the mailing list.
