I suggest that you switch your mail transport and POP3 server to
qmail. It has an integrated POP3 server that supports shadow
passwords. It compiles under Linux out of the box (the only
configuration necessary is to tell it that you're using shadow
passwords). It's small, it's fast, it's reliable, and it's secure.
It configures itself for the most standard configuration. It does
virtual domains with a couple of lines of configuration. It does
UUCP. It's *better* than sliced bread!
