Netscape 3 bus errors with Linux 2.0.7

Hi, everyone,
This is my first excursion to these lists. I'm sure this question has
been asked and answered, but I'd be interested in some assistance or
e-mail responses anyway.
I'm running Linux 2.0.7 on a machine with 16 MB. I've had some
problems with betas of Netscape 3, and continue to have with 3.0. My
problems are typical to others I've seen, including intermittent shutdowns
with bus errors. I've gone back to the 5.2.18 libc library. I managed to
get some particlarly tough Java sites running okay, but eventually, I lost
the browser and get a bus error in the terminal session.
Can anyone offer any other suggestions to get this fixed?
