About Taylor UUCP there is a lot of information avaiable in GNU Info format.
You can call this with:
info uucp
When you are using the GNU Emacs you can switch into the info mode with:
^H^I
Then you will get the info main menu which hopwfully contains an entry
for UUCP. If not, extend the file /usr/info/dir with this entry.
When you've compiled the sources by yourself you have probably to create and
install the info files with an extra Makefile target.
There is also in introduction in the Network Administration Manual (NAG)
from the Linux Documentation Project (LDP).
