Configure ethernet card

hello linux-managers,
I just installed Linux slackware 1.1.59 on my digital celebris
pentium 60.My ethernet card is a 3c509b.
When Linux boots, it tells me
eth0 3c505 not found
eth0 D-link DE-600 pocket adapter not at i/o 0x378
network unreachable.
I try to made an other vmlinuz with make config...
but nothing has changed.
I saw that 3c509b is a good card supported by linux
I 've got 3c509.c
I tried to modify lilo.conf ... without success.
Any help would be appreciated.
