your patch will save some memory, but with your patch nobody is
able to have a PCnet ISA card _and_ a PCnet PCI card in one machine !
I already have a patch lying around, which separates the lance driver
from the lance32 driver. I'm only waiting for 2.1 to send the patch
to Linus.
