well, i succeeded to trigger the bug minutes ago:
eth0: Tx access conflict. irq=0 lock=1 tx1=0 tx2=0 last=20
dma=0 tx=0 dir=2 lstop=36680051 start=36680051 stop=36680051 now=36680052
as promised, it didn't hang the kernel :-)
the command i used was the same that triggered the bug a week ago:
rj@rainbow> rnews < /mounts/fog/.../batch
with the batch being a large news batch (58968233 bytes) being read over
NFS (rainbow is a sun, fog runs linux).
btw, the ethernet is a TPE with an X-cable connecting the two hosts.
