I have been working on operating system code for over 10 years now, and I
have found that your staement is true of all OS's. If you think Linux has
problems take a look at NT. The golden boys at MS have NO internal
documentation for the NT Executive. Linux by comparison is well
documented. I have also had oppertunity to work with several other "real"
Unix sources and quite frankly the code there is often no better than in
Linux and most times worse.

I also noticed that you did not mention ports of your SW to other unixes.
Is that because you are not able to pay the source licencing fees to be
able to write driver level code? With all your whining about the
licencing of Linux it is obvious that you are not creative or intelligent
enough to figure a way out of the problem. I have yet to see a perfect
licencing agreement. GPL serves a purpose in the computer comunity. If
you do not like the GPL restrictions then just walk away, for god's sake
do not piss away our bandwidth with this infintile tit-for-tat banter.

P.S.
Sorry to the rest of you for my inapproprate use of this list but I just
had to get that out of my system.
