But you get the source so its fairly easy to how most things work. The
networking code in particular is layed out fairly nice.

Why not buy all the corporate CEO's a new car while were at it. The free
market will force companies to spend on development if there business 
requires it. I like my tax dollars going to research that is open and free,
not hidden away and horded - they can fund that on there own.
