Just because MTU problem is more simple :-).
IP fragments may be garbled by hundred of reasons,
but logic driving MTU value is simple as tomato and I know,
that this MTU value is impossible, that make the problem even more simple.

And I hope, that when we understand why it is wrong we easily find final
answer.
