	No mistake on your part.  I had the same trouble.  If you look
in ppp-2.1.2c/net/if_ppp.h you'll see a typedef for ext_accm, but this
header isn't being included by sys-linux.c.  If you modify sys-linux.o
to include that header file, you get a different set of errors.

	I'm also running a bleeding-edge system (libc-5.0.8, kernel
1.2.8), so I suspect some change was made to one or more of the C
library headers in the recent past.  I doubt Al would've shipped a PPP
distribution that didn't even compile.
