I got the same problem
But I can solve that by reserving IRQ and I/O address that is used by my
ethernet card. More precise, look at the Linux BootPrompt Howto
++sorry, I don't remember exactly, and too lazy to open that howto again.
but it sounds like reserve=...eth? bla..bla..
