Our "bogus" 1.3.56 was documented as such. Never, and I repeat NEVER
did we ever pledge to support 1.3.x. It was stated at the time that it was
simply a preamble to a 1.4 (now 2.0) port. Never was it recommended
that 1.3.56 be used for commercial systems. If we got feedback that
it was not stable then we would have pulled it. We got no such feedback.

We recommended FreeBSD for large systems (particularly with large
routing tables) because 1.2.13 could not handle them, and we didnt
support 1.3 kernels. When we get some feedback on 2.0.0, we may
change that recommendation. Our recommendation is, generally,
that you use what you are most comforable with unless it cant do
the job. Our price is the same for both.
