Maybe(!) I'm missing something here but I spent the afternoon flogging
mail from a laptop using an IBM PCMCIA card talking to an Accton
NE2000 clone in a 486/100 (24M) with narry a dropped character. My
only problem was with ppp and the -vjccomp switch fixed that.
Otherwise the card seems to be doing all I ask of it. Just my two
cents worth, your milage may vary, etc., of course.
