I got an error msg during starting my linux (slackware) INIT: cannot execute "/etc/rc.d/rc.S" INIT: Entering runlevel: 5 INIT: cannot execute "/etc/rc.d/rc.S" Can anyone help me!. I had boot it from bootdisk and use mount root=/dev/hda2 and it boot ok but I can use any vi to edit inittab, Is there any way to fix it--? thanx in advance hakim
