Shane,

I have, for some time now, used a linux box on a mixed Novell/Sun network
with great success. I used NCPFS-0.22 and Linux-1.3.94(?) with NCPFS compliled
into the kernel. NCPFS allows you to access files, recieve messages, and print
to print ques. I have also been using DOSEMU & Wine along with NCPFS to allow
those with Sun workstations to remote process via X and have local DOS access.
NCPFS with NFS on the Linux box can also re-export IPX volumes to other NFS
clients if, for some reason, you do not have NFS on the Novell server.
