Date: Wed, 22 May 1996 14:02:20 +0300 (EET DST) From: Liakakis Kostas <kostas@rincewind.techpath.gr> To: linux-net@vger.rutgers.edu I am sorry for running such an old kernel with all the pre2.0 fuss nowadays, but .95 worked well enough for me. Anyway, today I got some messages from the smc-ultra driver (I have an SMC-EtherEZ card): eth1: Interrupted while interrupts are masked! isr=0x1 imr=0x0. eth1: Too much work at interrupt, status 0x01 eth1: Too much work at interrupt, status 0x40 eth1: Too much work at interrupt, status 0x01 eth1: Too much work at interrupt, status 0x01 eth1: Too much work at interrupt, status 0x01 I had the too much work at interrupt thing again, but nothing like the first message. Ever... I thought that this might be of interest to somebody. The etherEZ is connected to a lan with one NT server and 3 workstations. It relatively quiet except when somebody is compiling something with eg Delphi. So we have high traffic for a moment, then back to normal... If something more is needed let me know. -Kostas
