Hi everybody
I have a linux box with a USRobotics 14.4 K modem that i use to make a SLIP connection with my University dialup service. They don't provide a very good service because there aren't that many 28.8k lines available. When all the fast lines are busy, the calls are automatically transfered to the slower lines (1.2k, 2.4k,etc...) My problem is that i can only connect when i get the faster lines. When i get the slower ones, the connection hangs. I get the message
CONNECT 2400 (for example) and that's it, nathing else happens. I believe it'ss

a problem with modem speeds.

Can anyone help me ?

TOm Koberle

P.S. Sorry for the poor typing, i'm using sendmail directly.
