Okie...I know that this is more or less a stupid question, but I have
finally gotten IP Masq to work on a Local level, IE: I can telnet from my
Windows client to the Linux box, but I can not telnet to the Internet.
Here is my setup:
(Under rc.local)
/sbin/ipfwadm -F -p accept
(under rc.inet1)
/sbin/ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1
/sbin/route add -net 192.168.1.1
With these, I can, like I said, telnet, ftp and such to my Linux box, but
no Internet. I can't even get Netscape to work....if anyone could help
me, it would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
Tom Walker
