We are pleased to bring to you a new release of Mobile
IP within the Linux kernel. This release (version 1.0),
an experimental one, is primarily intended to request
for comments. It fully complies with the Mobile IP
Internet Draft 15.
The software can be downloaded from the FTP site of
the National University of Singapore:
ftp://ftp.nus.sg/pub/mobile-ip
You are also welcome to visit our WWW home page at
http://mip.ee.nus.sg
Following this release, we will conduct several experiments
on the code, test its interoperability with other mobile IP
implementations, and collect advice, comments and questions.
We will then make an official release and submit it to the
Linux User Community.
