Hello,

If this is the wrong list, please tell me so and I'll be glad to
repost elsewhere.

Anyway, I'm seeing numerous TX dropped errors when I issue the
command 'ifconfig sl0'. Here is my setup: 386 8mg RAM, 16550 uart,
14.4K intel modem.

I use another Linux box to establish a SLIP connection using dip
version 3.3.7k-uri. The connections is made, and data transferred
back and forth ok for a while, but after 1 minute or so, the TX
dropped stats start rising, and I can see in the TX/RX leds that the
connection is having problems.

The machine I use to establish the connection with is a similar
setup, and connects to the Internet, but doesn't see any errors.

I'm using Linux kernal 1.1.54 from the Slackware 2.0.2 distribution.
I have uugetty running on the machine with the problem.

Any ideas? Do I not have something setup right?

Thanks,
