Brazilian importation laws and local vendor issues mainly.
Cost per MIP in BR is lower for the Netrai boxes than for Sun or others.
I know the laws are changing but habits are hard to break.

If a P5 using Linux can handle lots of users with PPP/SLIP accounts,
why does 90% of Brazilian Internet Providers use Netrai servers ?
Becouse they use Solaris ? Becouse they use MicroSparc processors ?
