Lots of "Socket destroy delayed" with '79.

I have been rebooting '79 a fair bit for various reasons, and one time
when it came up, it paused while trying to mount NFS /usr and /home.
After about 10s, it spewed forth a "Socket destroy delayed (r=0 w=268)"
and then mounted the NFS fs and all seemed normal.
But it continued to spew the same message (same r=0 w=268) at regular
intervals, which also turned out to be nearly exactly every 10 seconds.
They persisted until I rebooted once again, and then they were gone.
Card is a ne2k (not that it matters) and kernel only has NFS and
standard TCP/IP. No other funny drivers or protocols.
I know Alan said that it is a debugging message, and not necessarily
a bug, but I think this case is an exception to the rule. :-)
I captured a copy of everything in /proc/net while it was doing this,
just in case they would prove useful later.
Paul.
