Linux 1.2.6 is released, and I think two things are still missing:
- Fixed NE2000 driver - are there any known problems with the latest fix
from Paul Gortmaker? I am not using NE2000 at the moment, but I would
buy it if the driver is fixed, because these cards are cheap, I can't
get SMC8013 clones here, and 3C509's are too expensive :-(.
- 3C503 driver fixed to recognize cards with changed ethernet address
(starting with 0020af instead of 02608c). Yes, I had a problem with
unrecognized 3c503 (which worked in dos) too. There was a news posting
about it recently - 3com just made too many cards :-).
